In these 2 days, you will experience life in one of the most remote mountaineer areas with all its peculiarities and special traditions. The beauty of Thethi Valley is impressive with all the natural monuments mother nature has blessed it. Blood feud, canon laws, isolation towers, and other traditions are going to be part of our tour in the heart of the Accursed Mountains.

In 2 days you will visit the heart of the Accursed Mountains in Albanian Alps. Thethi village offers breathtaking beauty from outside and inside, giving a true experience of a remote village in the middle of high peaks.
This tour is a moderate walk and drive, with many visits to natural and historical sites, making it suitable for everyone. The weather most of the time is very nice and comfortable, only during July and August you should bring your hat, sunscreen, and water. During the winter season, you need to be dressed for cold temperatures. A certified tour guide will be with you all the time.
Our day will start early morning at 8 am and will head north Albania. At about 8:30 will be in Shkodra and will have a nice coffee or tea in a traditional coffee bar, which has an exhibit of old Albanian objects on its premises, traditional dresses, etc. Shortly will leave and take the way to Thethi valley, one of the most beautiful in Albania. Once in Thethi, we will get accommodated to our guest house welcomed with mountain tea and honey from the area.
After a short rest and a quick lunch will get on the way to explore Thethi valley. We will visit the small village with the characteristic mountaineer house, the Isolation Tower, and will tell the story of blood feuds. Grunasi waterfall is our next stop and be careful to put your coat on if you don’t want to be splashed with water. Make sure to get your cameras or phones for stunning pictures. After a long walking afternoon will be back to our guesthouse to have dinner and to rest.
Overnight in Thethi at a local guesthouse
Early morning will hike towards Blue Eye of Capre. First on our way will get to Nderlyse village where we will enjoy the pools created by a stream of water, which are amazing in their style and the water is very cold and clear. Next is the Blue Eye of Capre one of the most beautiful springs in all Albania. The water is crystal clear and very cold, the most courageous dares to take a swim for a few seconds. We will start our way back to our guest house, after a long hike.
On our way back we will grab a cup of coffee at the pedestrian street in Shkodra and at about 20 pm will be back in Tirana.
